Get into the holiday spirit with this embroidered ornament workshop! This class will take you through the complete process of creating your own 3” embroidery hoop ornaments, exploring various ways to make the class pattern your own. 

INSTRUCTOR : Alex of Florals & Floss Embroidery

PROJECT: Students will make 3 Christmas ornaments . Three workshop-exclusive patterns will be provided and students will be given a selection of fabric, and embroidery floss colors to choose from. All materials are provided for the class, at the end of class you will be able to purchase additional patterns and supplies to take home.

DISCUSSION: How to transfer your pattern to fabric, fundamental embroidery stitches, tips and tricks for working with sparkly floss, finishing techniques to display your ornament. 

PREREQUISITE: None! All experience levels are welcome.

NOTE: Students will learn the key skills required to complete the workshop pattern. Since embroidery is a relaxing art to be enjoyed at a personalized pace, some work may be required outside of class to complete the project. Students will take home to any supplies necessary to complete the project. 

CANCELLATION POLICY: This class will have eight students. Due to very small class sizes, we are unable to offer refunds on workshops. If for any reason you are unable to attend, your options are to send someone in your place or transfer to a new date. Date transfers require a $65 administration fee and you would have up to one year to apply your transfer to a new workshop date. Thanks for understanding!

COVID POLICY: With the Alberta Government’s Restrictions Exception Program you are required to bring one of the following: 1. Proof of vaccination 2. Proof of medical exemption 3. Proof of privately paid for negative test taken no more than 72 hours before class date. Masks and distancing will still be implemented.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class start time. Class end time may vary by 15 minutes.
