For those who have taken our weaving classes (or equivalent) and want to WEAVE MORE! The loom will be dressed in a twill pattern and ready for action! Students will be given a short demo then set to work independently to weave an 11.5 x 68” (on the loom, before washing) scarf.

The warp is wool in yellow, red, lavender and brown. The weft has wool in the same colours, and incorporates a single strand of mohair. The scarf design is partly inspired by the very popular (an expensive!) ACNE scarf. Hand weave your very own at half the cost ;) Mohair is notoriously difficult and expensive, this is a great way to try weaving with it!

Price includes loom rental, wool warp and weft and loom set up fee.

When you purchase a drop in, students can drop in on the selected dates during the listed hours.

Depending on your speed, you will need approximately 5-12 hours of weaving to complete the 68” scarf.

All finishing (fringe twisting & washing) will be done at your own home.
