December 4 - Fabric Ornament

This evening class will guide you through making a fabric ornament using only pins, a styrofoam ball, ribbon, and assorted fabrics. No sewing is involved! Just some folding and pinning to create a fabric ball with the illusion of a small quilt design. Use this knowledge to continue playing with colour combinations and decorations.
INSTRUCTOR: Carolyn of Kodiak Quilting
PROJECT: Using squares of coordinating fabrics, pins, and a styrofoam ball students will create a no sew quilted holiday ornament, worthy of the center stage on the tree. Students will finish the ornament with ribbon to hide the raw edges.
DISCUSSION: Holiday traditions and different types of handmade ornaments that Carolyn has explored over the years.
INCLUDED: All materials included. PLEASE BRING a thimble, or a small metal spoon, or piece of leather.
PREREQUISITE: None! This is a beginner class, no experience necessary.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Due to very small class sizes, we are unable to offer refunds on workshops. If for any reason you are unable to attend, you can send someone in your place. Any classes cancelled by us due to low registration or health mandates will have the option for a refund or transfer to future date.
